The Role

This exciting opportunity provides a chance to learn and develop skills in a dynamic industry. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for evaluating projects and providing accurate estimates, working closely with the Construction Estimating Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the authorisation of sub-contract and supplier invoice ETO's
  • Action variations and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Schedule material and labour quantities accurately and efficiently through required software packages
  • Review and provide feedback on system improvements to create efficiencies
  • Ensure file notes are well maintained and up to date using appropriate software
  • Assist with technical training and support to other staff as required
Requirements
  • Experience as a Scheduler and/or Estimator (advantageous)
  • Understanding of construction methods
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team with a wide group of stakeholders across multiple business functions
  • Effective problem-solving skills with an ability to influence individuals or groups to achieve better outcomes
  • Practical approach with a drive to improve or exceed goals
