Teaching Swimming and Water Safety

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Swimming Teacher.

The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and public safety applications within an aquatic facility. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering effective swimming and water safety techniques to students of all ages
  • Providing a child-safe environment while working closely with the team to deliver our swim program

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to making children safer around water
  • Energetic and innovative teaching style
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of OHS and public safety applications within an aquatic facility
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificates, as well as a Working With Children Check and National Police Check
  • AUSTSWIM Certificate - Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
