About the Role

As a Senior Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process frameworks for risk management, change, and resilience. The primary goal is to ensure the organization remains safe, compliant, and future-ready.

You will partner with senior leaders and front-line workers to deliver meaningful outcomes. This includes owning and managing the enterprise risk management framework, providing strategic advice on risk and change management, building awareness, engagement, culture, and capability on risk, change, and resilience management.

  • Developing and implementing effective risk management practices across operations.
  • Strengthening compliance through operational risk reporting.
  • Driving management of change initiatives and embedding risk management practices.
  • Shaping how the organization manages risk, responds to change, and protects its people, customers, and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years' experience in risk management, safety systems, or organizational resilience, preferably within the aviation industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of contemporary risk, change, and resilience practices.
  • Solid understanding of WHS legislation and aviation regulations.
  • Proven analytical skills in hazard identification, root cause analysis, and risk profile improvements.
  • Able to navigate complex systems and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working within a business partnering or similar service model.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Risk Management, or Safety Management.
