We are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketing professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
About the Role:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies across multiple venues. This includes optimizing marketing campaigns, forecasting and planning activities, and collaborating with regional managers to motivate staff and deliver outstanding guest experience.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Formulating marketing policies and procedures
- Managing the entire marketing process, requiring skills on both the strategy and 'big picture' side and being up-to-date with the latest social media trends
- Working with regional managers to motivate a team of venue managers and staff to deliver outstanding guest experience
- Collaborating with the operations team to establish new opportunities for venues with local schools, communities, and corporates for hosting parties and events
- Optimizing marketing strategies across venues through campaigns and promotions
- Establishing cross-promotional opportunities with retail, shopping centers, and other relevant businesses
- Developing and maintaining an EDM strategy, ensuring the effective use and expansion of the current database
- Working with vendors to create promotional materials, including signage, print advertising, social media, and website content
Requirements:
- A friendly and outgoing personality, with a can-do attitude, able to work autonomously without distractions to achieve KPIs within agreed timeframes
- Good leadership skills, high levels of attention to detail, and experience in developing and implementing solid marketing strategies
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a marketing manager/director, brand experience manager, or similar senior managerial experience
- Extensive experience in a similar role with a multi-venue portfolio
- Good understanding and vast experience in establishing marketing strategies
- Proactive in implementing promotions and campaigns
- Keen interest in marketing automation, data analytics, mobile apps, and the future of this space
- Experience in EMD, marketing databases
- Ability to learn online systems and project management software
- Mid-level design skills and portfolio (e.g., Photoshop) an advantage
- Previous advertising/media/marketing experience an advantage
- Experience with paid social media advertising, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram an advantage
- Solid understanding of data analytics, including knowledge of analytics software such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.
- Very high attention to detail and quality control methodologies before content is published
- Well-presented, well-spoken, and willing to work extra miles to get the job done
- Strong intellectual curiosity; eager to learn new techniques, tools, and technologies
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Strong business acumen with a strategic orientation
