Rehabilitation Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant to assist with the recovery and return to work of individuals who have suffered injury or illness. The successful candidate will conduct a range of assessment and case management services, and interact with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recovery and return to work of individuals who have suffered injury or illness
  • Conduct a range of assessment and case management services
  • Interact with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients
  • Support people to recover and return to their pre-injury or new employment using your clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 1 year Occupational Rehabilitation experience
  • Required disciplines: Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist (with relevant professional membership)
  • Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail and problem solving abilities
  • Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude and positive approach
  • Genuine commitment to continuous improvement
