Waste Management Team Member

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Waste Management Team Member to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities.

This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting waste, sharps, furniture, and other items as directed by your supervisor or senior corporate support staff.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. A valid NSW driver's license is also required.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect waste, sharps, furniture, and other items as directed
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of hospital facilities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
Requirements:
  • Valid NSW driver's license
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of waste management principles and practices
  • Awareness of infection control and hand hygiene procedures
