Distribution Centre Maintenance Assistant

Our company seeks a skilled and adaptable individual to join our team as a Distribution Centre Service Person.
About the RoleThis hands-on role involves working across the entire distribution centre, providing support to all specialist branches. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning, pumping out and servicing portable toilets and showers
- Performing basic equipment checks and inspections for safety and readiness
- Assisting with loading/unloading of equipment and preparing gear for hire or delivery (a forklift licence is an advantage)
- Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Assisting with general maintenance and cleaning of branch facilities as required
Follow site procedures to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.
About YouSuccessful applicants have come from various backgrounds, including customer service, building & construction, hospitality, retail, driver, landscaping, trade & maintenance. A valid Driver's licence and a Forklift operator's ticket are preferred. This role requires some physical components, including lifting and standing on your feet for long periods. A level of physical fitness is required and the ability to pass a drug test.
