Court Interpreter Role

The court interpreter is responsible for delivering accurate and high-quality interpreting services at various locations. This role requires the ability to interpret in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpreting for various court matters onsite at different locations
  • Managing competing priorities in a high-volume environment
  • Communicating sensitively with diverse customers to facilitate communication
  • Maintaining compliance with current standards and codes of ethics
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current NAATI Certified Interpreter certification in Arabic or Mandarin
  • Over five years' experience interpreting in court settings
  • Demonstrated high level of skill in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to perform well under pressure
