Mining Engineer Role

The primary function of this role is to contribute to mine design, excavation methodologies, and equipment optimization. Key responsibilities include planning production schedules, conducting ventilation surveys, undertaking short- and long-term strategic activities, developing drill and blast designs, examining existing mining methods and equipment for improvement opportunities, monitoring day-to-day operations against agreed plans and quality control standards, providing support for cost reviews, and performing project work as required.

To be considered for this position, you will possess a tertiary qualification in mining engineering or a related field, two years' experience in underground mining operations, knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, proficiency in mine planning and scheduling software, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a current manual drivers licence.
