Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pricing Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in the automotive industry and has a passion for pricing and procurement.

The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for managing asset pricing, ensuring that procurements align with company guidelines and meet all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). They will also be involved in analysing quote requests, sourcing competitive pricing from dealers, and confirming relevant discounts.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar field, preferably in the motor vehicle or related industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage asset pricing, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and SLAs/KPIs
  • Analyse quote requests, identifying irregularities and opportunities for improvement
  • SOURCE competitive pricing from dealers, considering manufacturer discounts and promotions
  • Confirm relevant discounts and rebates, ensuring accurate quoting and ordering
  • Support sales teams with product knowledge and trend analysis
  • Monitor dealer performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant costing, finance, or procurement experience, preferably in the motor vehicle or related industry
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy in work completed
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work autonomously, meeting deadlines and priorities
