About the Role
  • Accountable for all day-to-day finance activities and ad-hoc work.
  • Complete the month-end process adhering to strict timelines.
  • Prepare internal and external monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
  • Accountable for all monthly general ledger balance sheet account and sub-ledger reconciliations.
  • Manage all tax matters.
  • Develop monthly management reports as required.
  • Develop compliance and governance processes relating to business processes ensuring that accounting policies, procedures, and manuals are fully complied with.
  • System and process improvement as the business scales.
  • Manage a small team offshore.
Requirements
  • CPA/CA Qualified backed with a relevant degree.
  • Either have experience in a larger organisation having worked in multiple finance roles or worked as a Senior Financial Accountant/Finance Manager/Senior Manager in a small business.
  • Management experience of 1-2 people.
  • Must have exceptional communication skills including business writing.
  • Xero experience (not a must).

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
