Emergency Nurse Practitioner

This is a challenging and dynamic role within our urgent care team, where you will be responsible for triage, nursing assessment, and delivery of high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work autonomously, and strong critical thinking abilities. Previous experience in emergency or acute care settings is highly valued.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse who can provide exceptional patient care and contribute to our team's success.

Responsibilities:
  • Triage patients presenting to our urgent care centre with attention to accuracy and urgency.
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, identifying potential health risks and providing appropriate interventions.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in collaboration with medical practitioners, prioritizing safety and efficacy.
  • Perform various procedures such as suturing and plastering, adhering to best practices and guidelines.
  • Document patient interactions accurately and promptly, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to data protection policies.
Requirements:
  • AHPRA Registered Nurse.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check required.
  • Previous experience in emergency or ICU preferred, or minimum 3 years' experience in acute care settings.
  • Ability to recognize and escalate health deterioration, possessing strong communication and critical thinking skills.
