This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dedicated interim care unit providing high-quality patient care and support. As an Assistant in Nursing, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
About the Role- Assist patients with meals, fluids, and personal care needs.
- Promote optimal independence and mobility among residents.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including restocking supplies and reporting stock deficits.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Assist with meal service, including serving food, collecting used trays, and taking meal orders.
- Promote and encourage optimal independence and mobility among residents.
- Restock supplies and identify/report stock deficits.
- Clean and maintain a safe and clean working area, including spills, body fluids, equipment, and disposal of soiled linen and wastes.
- Maintain effective interpersonal and communication skills with all members of the healthcare team and customers.
- Previous experience in residential care or a health service would be well regarded.
- Hold a Certificate III Aged Care (or equivalent) or be undertaking a pre-registration university program in a nursing qualification approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
