Spiritual Learning Manager

About the Role

The Spiritual Learning Manager shares responsibility for developing the Catholic life of a school, leading its vision and mission, and contributing to the management of the school. The role involves coordinating and supervising teaching and learning in Religious Education with a strong capacity to take forward the evangelizing mission of Catholic schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gives witness to faith and contributes to the Catholic life and culture of the school community.
  • BUILDING A LEARNING CULTURE OF SHARED RESPONSIBILITY FOR QUALITY TEACHING AND STUDENT LEARNING GROWTH INFORMED BY DATA.
  • Develops and maintains positive partnerships with students, families, and carers, the local church, and the wider school community.
Requirements
  • An effective educator who can demonstrate leadership skills and experience in Religious Education.
  • Accreditation for Senior Leadership in a Catholic School (Category E) or a commitment to acquiring within a 5-year period.
  • NESA Accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or above.
  • Working with Children Clearance.
