Maintenance Officer Role

Seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Officer to join our team in an aged care facility located in Kirwan, QLD.

About the Role:
  • We are looking for a skilled tradesperson to carry out day-to-day maintenance and repairs across the facility.
  • Key responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance checks and inspections, liaising with external contractors when required, maintaining accurate records of maintenance work, and ensuring all work complies with safety and aged care standards.
About You:
  • You will need proven experience in a general maintenance, handyman, or trade role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach are essential.
  • Knowledge of WHS regulations and safe work practices is necessary.
  • Good communication skills and a respectful approach when working around elderly residents are also required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively is important.
