About the Role:

Industrial Light & Magic is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling tasks, communicating with artists and supervisors, and ensuring the smooth operation of our productions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with discipline supervisors and leads to crew, cast, and schedule work
  • Establish communication processes for discipline targets, assignments, and priorities
  • Schedule, track, and manage assigned work within our internal tracking tool
  • Ensure work is on schedule and meeting internal and client deadlines
  • Set up turnovers with department crew and communicate turnover information to artists
  • Track client needs, reviews, and deliveries
  • Serve as key communication liaison between parties
  • Anticipate and communicate issues to leadership teams
  • Supervise, delegate to, and train assigned Production Assistant
  • Organize dailies/shot reviews and take notes on feedback and decisions
  • Prioritize and escalate technical support issues

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving ability and proactive approach
  • Collaborative and respectful team dynamic
  • Proficiency in Macs/PCs, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Bachelor's Degree in Film, Art, or Communications or equivalent experience
