We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team in Perth, working across the International Trade Statistics Program, Agriculture Statistics Program, and Environmental and Satellite Accounts Program.

About the Role:

  • Solving problems, undertaking research, and statistical analysis.
  • Collecting and compiling statistics for publication.
  • Writing and presenting reports for various audiences.
  • Assisting with team management.
  • Contributing to strategy development and planning that support the organization's objectives.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to ensure data quality.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, decision-making abilities, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience or qualifications in data science, economics, or statistics.
  • Demonstrated experience in computer programming (especially SAS or R).

Requirements:

  • Reliable commute or relocation before starting work.
  • Australia work authorization.
