Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

SA Health is seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team in the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality mental health nursing services across diverse health settings.

About the Role

In this dynamic role, you will work closely with consumers, families, and carers to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based, recovery-oriented services. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans to meet the unique needs of consumers and the community.

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including community, acute, and rehabilitation environments. You will engage in individual and family therapies, group programs, health promotion, and community initiatives to enhance the mental health and wellbeing of consumers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality mental health nursing services to consumers, families, and carers.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans to meet the unique needs of consumers and the community.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based, recovery-oriented services.
  • Engage in individual and family therapies, group programs, health promotion, and community initiatives to enhance the mental health and wellbeing of consumers.
Requirements
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Must hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in Mental Health practice.
