Site Engineer

This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of challenging civil projects, collaborating with established contractors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading tender development
  • Planning and scheduling construction activities
  • Ensuring site teams operate safely
  • Managing quality assurance, cost, and time effectively
  • Preparing management reports
  • Resolving site issues in a timely manner
  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders
  • Coordinating internal and external resources

Requirements:

  • tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
  • 0-2+ years' experience managing civil construction projects
  • Project management qualifications advantageous
  • Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to lead and delegate effectively
  • Effective problem solving abilities
  • Conflict resolution and client expectation management
  • High level of organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
