Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to manage ETL processes.
  • Utilise PL/SQL for stored procedures, functions, and triggers for efficient data manipulation.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts to support various business operations.
  • Create and optimise reports and dashboards using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
  • Automate and manage SQL server tasks with Powershell scripting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SQL-related issues, ensuring high system availability and performance.
  • Provide support for database performance tuning and optimisation.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in SQL development, including advanced querying, stored procedures, and performance optimisation.
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and experience working with Oracle databases.
  • Hands-on experience with SSRS for report generation and SSIS for ETL development.
  • Proficient in Powershell for automating tasks and managing SQL server operations.
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with large-scale data integration projects is a plus.
  • Retail industry experience or experience working with high-volume transactional systems is highly desirable.
