Risk Management Specialist

A key position has become available within our general insurance team, focusing on liability underwriting for the Western Australia market.
This role involves assessing and managing moderate to complex liability risks, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective risk assessment and coverage determination.
Main Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment and Underwriting: Apply underwriting strategies to target markets and accounts within your area, following established guidelines and standards.
- Liaison and Support: Collaborate with teams to support account management and procurement efforts.
- Talent Development: Mentor team members, provide guidance, and pursue personal development opportunities.
- Portfolio Management: Manage the liability portfolio, including processing, credit management, documentation, and risk servicing.
Requirements:
- Experience: General liability underwriting, risk management, or related fields.
- Knowledge: Insurance legal/regulatory environments and risk analysis.
- Communication Skills: Engage effectively with agents, brokers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate risk evaluation and coverage determination.
- Problem-Solving: Complex underwriting scenarios and negotiations.
- Customer Focus: Understanding and meeting client needs.
