Forensic Science Team Lead

The Unit Manager position is available in a dynamic environment where you will oversee the provision of forensic drug analysis services to law enforcement agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage personnel and resources, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high-level leadership attributes.
- Evaluate service delivery processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance business operations.
- Provide expert scientific and technical advice, leadership, and guidance within the team and across the organization as required.
- Integrate best practices in science and technology to drive innovation and excellence within the unit.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures, providing key advice and leadership to stakeholders.
- Ensure accreditation and quality standards are met and maintained within the unit.
- Maintain accurate records and monitor future needs relevant to the work area.
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a drivers authority are required.
- This is an ongoing Forensic Officer Level 5 position.
