Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as part of our Switch transition to mental health nursing program. This program provides a supportive environment for General Nurses to transition smoothly into Mental Health Nursing. The successful candidate will be provided with all necessary training and experience to enable them to excel in this new role.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake risk assessments, mental state evaluations, and develop care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills to effectively consult, liaise, and negotiate with consumers, carers, family members, and other professionals.
- Contribute to a supportive team environment and maintain excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA as a Division 1 Registered Nurse.
- Australian working rights (Visa holders, please upload your visa and passport with your application).
- Full Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination.
- Be willing to undergo a Background Check.
