We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that is passionate about delivering exceptional care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct quality patient care based on individualized plans of care, exercising sound judgment in delegating aspects of patient care to support staff.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance nursing practice, age, and population-specific to the unit.
- Conduct timely, comprehensive assessments using appropriate techniques for data collection, analysis, interpretation, and documentation to inform age-appropriate decisions for the patient plan of care within scope of responsibility, training, and practice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, document, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Promote a culture of excellence and participate in unit-based performance improvement initiatives.
- Degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- National Institute of Health (NIH) Stroke Certification within 90 days of hire (except Pediatric and Nursery).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification bi-annually for Emergency Department, Cardiac Cath Lab, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and House Supervisors.
- Newborn Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE certification bi-annually for Nursery.
