About the Role
  • Develop and implement personalized career plans for clients, focusing on job-readiness and transition to employment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, employers, and community services to ensure effective support and placement.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to clients, promoting independence and self-advocacy skills.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Intake and Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to understand client goals, strengths, and challenges.
  2. Goal Setting and Planning: Collaborate with clients to set achievable goals and develop tailored action plans.
  3. Job Readiness Training: Deliver training sessions on job search strategies, resume building, and interview techniques.
  4. Employment Support: Facilitate connections between clients and potential employers, providing ongoing support throughout the recruitment process.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with employers, community services, and other stakeholders to promote collaborative working relationships and identify new opportunities.
Requirements
  • Degree in Employment Services, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in employment services, preferably supporting people with disabilities.
  • Proven track record of meeting KPIs and delivering results-driven employment outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with disability legislation and labor market trends.
