We are seeking a Visual Designer to join our team in Sydney. This role is perfect for those passionate about working with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, and digital design.

As a Visual Designer, you will be responsible for aligning with and contributing to design patterns, UI kits, and guidelines. You will work within agile delivery teams, using continuous design practices to test, measure, and learn. You will facilitate the design process and workshops by engaging relevant team members and ensuring all stakeholders are informed and involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create visually appealing designs that meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with development teams to maintain a strong understanding of backend systems and how they impact design.
  • Multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in an agile environment.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure all stakeholders are informed of design solutions, timelines, and blockers.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong technical abilities with design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch/Figma).
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and produce quality outcomes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product owners, iteration managers, copywriters, engineers, and delivery managers.

Desired Skills:

  • Designing for mobile and desktop, including responsive and adaptive web design.
  • Hands-on experience in digital design, particularly visual design, UI design, and prototyping.
