Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice to consumers and non-technical colleagues on mechanical issues related to the operation of motor vehicles, caravans, and boats.
  • Negotiate the resolution of disputes between consumers and traders.
  • Inspect vehicles, caravans, and boats, assessing faults and quality of repairs.
  • Provide evidence for court proceedings.
Requirements
  • Hold a formal trade qualification in the automotive industry or extensive experience in motor vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
  • Demonstrated computer and keyboard skills with experience in the use of the Microsoft suite of applications and databases.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills with experience in dispute resolution.
