Job Description

As a skilled Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative engineering solutions to drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver complex systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and mitigating technical risks to projects using proven systems engineering approaches throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Leading verification and validation efforts to ensure user needs are captured and met through design and related activities.
  • Engagement and close coordination with project leadership and stakeholders to ensure technical compliance and support safety case submissions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian Citizenship or eligibility to obtain an Australian Defence security clearance.
  • Bachelor of Engineering/Science degree.
  • Experience within regulated industries/frameworks (e.g., Defence, transport, nuclear, pharmaceuticals).
  • Systems engineering knowledge and experience.
  • System safety and assurance experience.
  • Professional body membership (e.g., Engineers Australia, INCOSE/SESA).
  • Excellent communications and client management/stakeholder engagement skills.
