Job Title: Support Worker for Physically Active Male

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and strong support worker to join our team in providing high-quality care for a male NDIS participant with complex physical support needs. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, proactive, and compassionate in their approach to care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the participant with daily living activities at home and in the community
  • Provide personal care, including showering, toileting, and dressing
  • Manual handling and mobility support (transfers using hoists and other equipment)
  • Encourage independence and participation in meaningful activities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in disability or aged care support
  • Valid Australian Driver Licence and own reliable vehicle (with insurance)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Manual handling training

Benefits:

Work Schedule:

  • Shiftwork, with rotating roster over seven days
  • Availability during weekdays required

Licence/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (preferred)

  • Driver Licence (required)
