Job Description

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Hardware Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.

The position involves guaranteeing the delivery of signalling hardware design for projects, including documentation of design on schedule and budget. Ensuring the setup of HW, including operating system installation, automated installation development, SW integration, and identifying and troubleshooting problems with both lab and production hardware are also key responsibilities.

Executing detailed hardware design, ensuring the control of design documents in accordance with company processes, responsible for leading reviews to detect design errors and ensure correction, ensuring the delivery of sub-systems or SW configurations for medium & small signalling project schemes, and defining and executing the integration lab tests before handover of the executable files of the configured sub-systems are other essential duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology Qualifications/ University Degree
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in Signalling HW design
