Child Development Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a Child Development Specialist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services that promote the health, well-being, and development of young children.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in child development and education, with experience in designing and implementing programs that support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, families, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver capacity-building programs for kindergarten educators and families to support young children's learning and development
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices that enhance the professional and parenting practices of educators and families
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Child Development, Education, or related field
  • Experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Strong knowledge of child development theories and research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
