
Aboriginal Land Rights Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project coordinator to join our Regional Development team based in Darwin. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and is passionate about supporting Aboriginal land rights and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage third-party expressions of interest and oversee land use agreements.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess proposals and facilitate consultations.
- Support negotiations between traditional owners and external stakeholders and coordinate field visits and meetings.
- Prepare high-level reports and manage budgets.
This role requires someone with a strong background in project coordination and stakeholder engagement, who understands the importance of cultural sensitivity and collaboration.
Requirements:- Bachelor of Project Management, Business or a related field and/or minimum of four years relevant experience in a related industry or sector working in project management and administration, land management and management of budgets.
- A minimum of two years practical experience coordinating and facilitating project administration.
- Experience in financial planning and management including budgeting, cost recovery and corporate credit management in alignment with organisation systems and processes.
- A current NT Driver's licence. Ability to travel to regional and remote areas safely driving a four-wheel drive (4WD) work vehicle on a regular basis.
