Industrial Refrigeration Project Manager Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working with industrial refrigeration systems. This role involves performing engineering calculations, designing refrigeration solutions, preparing estimates and tender submissions, and managing projects from start to finish.

About the Job
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to join our team as a project manager for industrial refrigeration projects.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Performing engineering calculations and designs for refrigeration solutions.
  2. Preparing estimates and tender submissions for minor and major project work.
  3. Managing projects, including supplier negotiations, design coordination, procurement, resource coordination, and project administration.
  4. Controlling project costs, ensuring successful project completion, and conducting regular forecasting.
  5. Evaluating and modifying existing refrigeration plants to meet client requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification (minimum B.Eng.) in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Ability to create, read, and interpret drawings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach and ability to work autonomously.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Keenness to learn and develop through contact with various professionals, including fabricators, consultants, and tradespeople.
