Job Title: Security Technology Advisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Technology Advisor to join our team at Vero Insurance. As a key member of our Physical Security team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative technology strategies to address the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Physical Security Specification suite for Vero Insurance sites
  • Support the Physical Security team through the provision of advice and guidance as required
  • Ensure platform and technology stability while operating at an optimal service capability
  • Actively monitor and assess technical security measures for performance and reliability
  • Work with Security Operations Advisor and the Security Operations Centre to ensure capacity, monitoring, and maintenance reporting is regularly produced and reviewed
  • Produce and disseminate periodic and ad-hoc security reporting as directed by Manager, Physical Security
  • Act as the Physical Security Technology lead on assigned projects, focusing on ensuring projects deliver outcomes aligned to relevant policy, procedures and specifications etc
  • Project manage or oversee delivery where external Project Manager engaged of Security technology system upgrades, enhancements and new technology implementation

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years' Technical security experience (Mandatory) with some experience with large corporations (Essential)
  • Previous experience working with Third-Party suppliers
  • Branch and retail technology and installation experience (Desired)
  • Commercial building technology and installation experience (Highly Desired)
  • ATM experience technology and installation experience (Desired)
  • Operational site experience, Security industry experience, Security Risk Management (Desired)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Gallagher Advanced Administrator Training (Highly Desired)
