Position Overview
We are in search of a seasoned Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) expert to enhance our vibrant Cyber team in Brisbane.
Team Dynamics
Our Cyber & Technology division is undergoing remarkable growth. We are relied upon by our clients for our expertise in intricate cybersecurity, data privacy, cyber incidents, and forensic technology challenges. Our approach is hands-on, collaborating closely with clients to devise and implement practical solutions to complex issues. We maintain composure, especially during crises, assisting clients in navigating high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities
You will play a crucial role in delivering Cyber Strategy & Risk projects, while also contributing to other areas such as cyber incidents, data privacy, and investigative matters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and quantifying gaps in cyber resilience and maturity.
- Developing and executing strategies to address identified gaps and enhance governance capabilities.
- Evaluating compliance with standards such as ISO27001, NIST, CPS 234, or the ACSC Essential 8.
- Establishing risk management and compliance programs for cyber and privacy, including third-party assessments as necessary.
- Preparing comprehensive reports, presentations, dashboards, and visualizations, and presenting findings during client briefings.
- Managing engagement risks while ensuring high-quality outcomes across all projects.
- Safeguarding client confidentiality and data integrity.
- Strengthening client relationships through exceptional service.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent technical experience.
- A strong passion and knowledge of the technical aspects of cyber, information security, and privacy governance.
- Experience in Cyber Risk & Strategy projects, including safety and awareness program development, security risk assessments, and incident response scenario testing.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ambition, drive, and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive under pressure.
