Spanning approximately 4,000 hectares, the property currently operates a robust sheep enterprise, comprising between 8,000 to 10,000 ewes (mix of merino/1XBs), plus around 600 Angus cows producing F1 wagyu calves. The farm's commitment to sustainable practices ensures high-quality livestock production.

This key position involves overall day-to-day management and reporting to senior leadership, with a focus on driving the livestock enterprises forward. As the successful applicant, you will lead and train a team of four to six staff members, ensuring they adhere to safety and welfare policies.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive management experience in sheep and cattle operations, preferably backed by a university degree or diploma in agriculture. Strong record-keeping skills using Word, Excel, and mobile apps are also essential.

A deep understanding of sustainable agricultural practices, combined with excellent communication and collaboration skills, is crucial for this role. You will be responsible for effective communication, timely documentation, and maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
