Funds Associate/Senior Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Funds Associate/Senior Associate to join our team at Allens. As a key member of our Funds practice, you will play a critical role in advising leading Australian and global fund managers on a wide range of matters, including the establishment of new Australian funds, raising capital, and operating funds in Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Advise clients on the establishment of new Australian funds, including wholesale funds, capital partnerships, and club funds.
- Work with clients on new product and business development, regulatory change projects, remediation activities, regulator engagement, compliance uplift, and ongoing strategic advice.
- Collaborate with other practice groups, including M&A, regulatory disputes, and banking and finance, on matters involving funds and fund managers.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience gained from working in a funds, corporate, or financial services regulatory practice from a leading top-tier, national, or international firm, or in-house team.
- A passion to specialize in investment funds, while still building generalist expertise.
- A desire to learn and grow independently while maintaining a desire to mentor others and be team-focused.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a commitment to providing exceptional client service while interacting with the market and building client relationships.
