Registered Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist Opportunity

This is a compelling opportunity to contribute to the growth and well-being of children, young people, and adults by providing evidence-based psychological therapeutic interventions in our Heartlinks program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver online and face-to-face therapeutic services to clients with varying needs and complexities
  • Develop and implement effective counselling strategies for individuals and groups, including those with complex presentations
  • Contribute to clinical decision-making processes regarding treatment planning, assessment, and risk management
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in accordance with relevant policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader and team to identify opportunities for improvement and promote positive outcomes for clients

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Psychology from an accredited tertiary institution, registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA, and registration (or eligibility) with Medicare. They will also have experience in completing and documenting clinical counselling sessions, strong ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and high level written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Psychology from an accredited tertiary institution
  • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
  • Registration (or eligibility) with Medicare
  • Proven experience in delivering therapeutic services to diverse client groups
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
