Job Opportunity: Practice Management Specialist

Your Role and Responsibilities

This is a temporary 12-month full-time assignment with the potential to extend. You will work standard business hours, from Monday to Friday, resolving issues and risks across a range of activities.

Main Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage internal and external legal reporting requirements for the division, including reports published for the public or to inform the executive staff and/or Ministers.
  • Maintain legal databases, extracting data and providing reports in a range of formats.
  • Ensure the Legal Services intranet page and website are current and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate and draft reports, briefs and other correspondence on legal matters for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Board and/or Minister.
  • Maintain records management for legal documentation.
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes for the division, including ordering assets and organising access to facilities.
  • Assist lawyers with company searches and other legal administrative functions.
  • Process monthly accruals, manage contractor procurement and process invoices.
  • Coordinate the workforce planning report and auditing data to ensure accuracy.
  • Support the development and administrative management of new systems, processes and practical tools, including training.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in SAP and ESSentials.
  • Desirable experience in a Legal environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel & Access is desirable.
  • Experience in a similar role at a Government level is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
