Key Role: Learning Experience Designer

In this pivotal position, you will spearhead the creation and implementation of innovative digital learning solutions.

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge eLearning experiences that cater to diverse learner needs.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, reporting progress, and adhering to stringent deadlines.

This role comes with an added remuneration benefit known as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP), allowing Defence to offer a premium on top of the base salary.

You will be working in a dynamic environment with the Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation (AGO), contributing to geospatial data, information, and intelligence that safeguards Australians at home and abroad. As part of the Training and Tradecraft Directorate, under the GEOINT Enterprise and Executive Branch, you will drive impactful training initiatives.

We seek a high-performing individual who is passionate about learning and development, with a strong background in instructional design, adult learning theory, and eLearning technologies. The ideal candidate will craft engaging and interactive experiences that meet learners' needs.

  • Showcase expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Totara or Moodle.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in eLearning authoring tools like iSpring, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Lectora.
  • Display knowledge of graphic design principles and ability to create visually appealing content.
  • Possess excellent written and communication skills.
  • Show ability to deliver captivating presentations to diverse audiences, effectively conveying complex concepts.
