Product Development Expertise

We are seeking an experienced Senior Food Technologist to lead the development and improvement of food products. This role involves close collaboration with various teams to drive innovation, ensure quality standards, and meet regulatory requirements.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Leverage expertise in R&D project management, mentoring team members to deliver high-quality results.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership to provide strategic feedback on projects and key business decisions.
  • Develop and refine existing product lines, adhering to quality and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee technical documentation, including writing briefs for new products, ensuring compliance with FSANZ standards.
  • Optimize product delivery quality through value engineering and reformulation strategies.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food product development.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and FDA regulations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, encompassing all organisational levels.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
