We are seeking dedicated maintenance engineers to ensure aircraft and associated components meet prescribed aviation standards.

**Job Summary:**

Maintain airworthiness of aircraft and associated components by performing task sign-off, supervising trades, and monitoring tool usage.

**Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform task sign-off of maintenance within scope of authorisation
  2. Supervise and mentor other trades
  3. Analyse and assess to determine actions must not proceed past any point in the task where an Error Capture (EC) or Supervisor inspection is required
  4. Monitor and use only approved and serviceable tools, ground equipment, test equipment and materials
  5. Maintain adherence to tool control procedures in accordance with AFCAMAN, Book IV, Chapter 8 - Tool Control and local procedures
  6. Ensure authorised data is used and complete, correct, applicable, approved and adequate for the task
  7. Monitor and ensure all serviceability criteria for components and parts are met in accordance with the relevant authorised data before fitment
  8. Analyse and evaluate the adequacy and efficiency of maintenance activities and propose changes as required
  9. Support preparing and submitting defective or surplus components and material for return to stores
  10. Undertake completion and submission of associated documentation for support equipment where applicable
  11. Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  12. Participate in the PBED process
  13. Perform a work area examination during and on completion of all maintenance
  14. Monitor and ensure all follow-on maintenance requirements have been identified and documented

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Australian Defence Security Clearance
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of DASR's
  • Sound understanding of Plan, Brief, Execute, Debrief (PBED) principles
  • Good understanding of the effects of Human Factors in Maintenance
  • Cert IV Aeroskills Maintenance including rotary wing modules
