At the heart of our educational framework is a commitment to fostering exceptional learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of our students. To achieve this, we are seeking a skilled Learning Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be an expert in high-quality teaching and learning, with a focus on delivering improved achievement, engagement, and wellbeing for students.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mentoring and coaching teachers to enhance their skills, knowledge, and effectiveness.
  • They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to model behaviours and attitudes consistent with our organisation's values.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who can lead and model the implementation of whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based feedback systems to inform teacher practice and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Model excellence in teaching and learning through demonstration lessons.
  2. Mentor and coach teachers to improve the skill, knowledge, and effectiveness of the teaching workforce.
  3. Develop and implement whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.
  4. Lead and model the implementation of professional learning, including observation and feedback of teacher practice and peer collaboration.
  5. Provide evidence-based feedback to teaching staff to inform their effectiveness and development.

Requirements:

  • Teachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the relevant education authority.
  • Qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
