About the Position

Lifecare Homecare is seeking a skilled Graduate Physiotherapist to provide allied health services in client homes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate to gain hands-on experience, develop clinical skills and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

The successful candidate will conduct assessments and provide interventions to patients and clients in their own home. They will engage with other Allied Health Professionals, GP's and other Health Care Professionals to ensure effective patient care.

The varied caseload will include NDIS, workers compensation and veterans' affairs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail and time management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting assessments and providing interventions to patients and clients in their own home
  • Engaging with other Allied Health Professionals, GP's and other Health Care Professionals to provide effective patient care
  • Writing reports such as initial reports, progress and final reports and treatment management plans which meet the standards of funding bodies
  • Creating and maintaining effective relationships with Case Managers, GP's, community centres and other referrers

Requirements for this position are:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy
  • Full registration with AHPRA upon graduating
  • Graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in early 2026
  • A pre-employment national criminal check prior to employment
  • A valid Working with Children clearance (NDIS requirement)
  • A NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
  • Full Australian working rights
  • A full drivers' license, own vehicle and comprehensive insurance
