Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our sustainability strategy and programs.

This key role will be responsible for identifying and addressing emerging sustainability issues, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving positive community impact.

About the Role

You will design and deliver programs to manage increasing community and stakeholder expectations in relation to social and environmental issues such as climate change and natural disasters.

You will also identify, establish, and manage partnerships with external organisations to support our sustainability strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic design and implementation of sustainability programs to support business strategies and initiatives
  • Manage relevant reporting on sustainability initiatives, including impact measurement and program evaluation
  • Design and manage partnerships with external organisations to support our sustainability strategy
  • Identify and develop partnerships with external organisations to support our impact agenda
  • Internal policy design to address environmental and social impacts of our operations
  • Provide strategic advice to stakeholders through a commercial and impact lens
  • Strong leadership and coaching of direct reports

Requirements

  • At least 10-15 years experience in relevant roles, including at least 7 years in sustainability/ESG strategy related roles
  • Experience in navigating complex issues and stakeholders across large organisations
  • Experience in leading large, complex multi-year programs with multiple stakeholders
  • CORPORATE AFFAIRS EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL, PUBLIC POLICY OR ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS EXPERIENCE IS DESIRABLE
