The Environmental Division operates a state-of-the-art laboratory in Brisbane (Stafford) equipped with the latest analytical technology. We're seeking experienced Laboratory Technicians to join our team who strive to exceed client expectations by delivering quality results on time and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Suitable candidates may have just completed their Science Degree or TAFE Laboratory skills and are looking to utilise their practical laboratory experience in a working laboratory. These roles are fast-paced and require individuals to work at speed with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and analysis of soil, water, and sediment samples
  • Ensuring preparation and analytical procedures are conducted in accordance with ALS Quality Work Instructions
  • Organising designated tasks to maximise daily efficiencies
  • Completing tasks within the timeframe set by the Supervisor and relevant analysis standard

Requirements
  • TAFE or University qualifications
  • A genuine interest in the Science industry
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills
  • Dedication to good laboratory practices with regard to quality of results and health and safety
