About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Domestic Assistant to join our Home Care team. As a Domestic Assistant, you will provide domestic assistance with cleaning and laundry duties to support our clients to live independently at home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic assistance with cleaning and laundry duties to support clients to live independently at home
  • Work collaboratively with the Home Care team to ensure high-quality care and support to clients
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Home or Aged Care (advantageous but not essential)
  • Passion for supporting others and making a difference in the community
  • Strong relationship building, time management, and budget management skills
  • Previous case management experience and relevant qualifications
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A safe and sensible approach with a practical understanding of people's physical limitations
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to meet clients' individual needs
