Business Analyst Role

We are seeking a Business Analyst to contribute to our organization's success. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in agile environments and can build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting customer needs, working closely with Product Owners to ensure requests align with the product vision, and breaking down needs into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

You will lead prioritisation and elaboration sessions with customers, validate solutions with customers throughout the development process, and report on estimates, progress, and risks to customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gathering and Documentation
  • Customer needs using techniques like user journey mapping, emotional mapping, process diagrams, and prototyping
  • Working with Product Owners to ensure requests align with the product vision
  • Breaking Down Needs
  • Epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Leading prioritisation and elaboration sessions with customers
  • Validating solutions with customers throughout the development process
  • Reporting on estimates, progress, and risks to customers and stakeholders
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in an agile environment
  • Proven success delivering SaaS products for a software vendor
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, both technical and non-technical
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • An inquisitive nature and a problem-solving approach
