Role Summary

This position involves providing specialist psychiatric services to children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team care and collaborate with other clinicians as needed.
  • Supervise trainee psychiatrists and provide consultation and supervision to other mental health professionals.
  • Be available for on-call duties when required.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold registration or be eligible for registration as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Be a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent, with relevant experience and qualifications.
