Key Responsibilities of the role –
  • Manage all golf operations, including preparing golf timesheets, setting up and running club competitions, and coordinating reciprocal and visitor bookings.
  • Oversee the daily golf shop operations, including golf cart management, retail, and merchandising.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the golf shop team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the golf shop remains competitive.
  • Manage the golf shop's inventory, including ordering and receiving merchandise.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services.
Requirements –
  • Previous experience in a golf shop or similar role is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the golf industry, including the Rules of Golf.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Working Hours –

25-38 hours per week.

The role is Permanent Part Time with the potential to be Full time for the right candidate.
